Albane Buriel is a researcher and a practitioner in the field of humanitarian, visual arts and education in conflict zones.

After a master's degree in sociolinguistics and sociodidactics at the University of Rennes 2 and a master's degree in humanitarian management at the Institute of International and Strategic Relations (IRIS), she is now a consultant to organizations in educational expertise for activities artists as a trainer to practitioners of non-formal education in emergencies. An ethnographic researcher in the field of artistic practices with children and youth, particularly in displacement situations in the Middle East, she is also a research associate at the Canadian Observatory on Crises and Humanitarian Aid (OCCAH).
