Dominique Caouette, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Montreal since 2004, he is coordinator of the Network studies and transnational dynamics of collective action (REDTAC). Dr.Caouette is Director of the Centre for the Study of East Asia (CETASE), moreover he is a member of the Centre for the Study of Peace and International Security (CEPSI) and the Centre for the Policy Research and Social Development (CDPS). He chairs at board of USC Canada, an international development organization focused on food security. He also leads the series “Globalization and Development” at the Presses de l’Université d’Ottawa since 2008. His current research focuses on civil society and the reform of global governance, the agrarian transition and globalization in Southeast Asia, the revolutionary movements and democratization in the Philippines and the study of social movements, transnational advocacy networks and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Asia. He earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Cornell University in 2004.
